I had a paper art page "KAMIZOKU" serialized in the monthly magazine for about 9 years. The main character is MAPITO. He had a trip around the world. I made over 100 artworks through this series. It was interesting to fine new techniques, though making of new ideas constantly was hard work.

Craft Idea: Curl
The last of KAMIZOKU /SOTOKOTO（April. 2012）

I wanted to make the last scene of the festival look cheerful and I made colorful Peruvian costumes for the leading characters of "KAMIBITO". First I made the costume as my sketch (you can see on the first picture on top). However it does not fit him.

So I curled it using the round stick.

It became a poncho and I wrapped it round him.

Everyone had a fitting time.
